Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Quality Pizza & Sub Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training and development.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling. The position is physically demanding and requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.Hours of Work:

30-35 hours per week.
