About the Role

BDO is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to join our growing team. As a key member of our cloud infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop cloud native solutions for a cutting-edge CI/CD ecosystem
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced engineers to build real-world cloud scale solutions across public and private clouds
  • Contribute to the development of cloud infrastructure platforms in Azure and GCP public clouds
  • Promote automation and infrastructure best practices
  • Lead the installation, upgrades, and integration of the current and future Kubernetes platform(s), technologies, and tools
  • Develop and maintain high-quality educational materials for fellow engineers
  • Continuously learn new technical skills and apply them in day-to-day work
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to peers
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure Automation and Infrastructure as Code (GCP)
  • 3+ years of experience with cloud networking and security setup, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • 3+ years of experience with developing Terraform modules (preference Enterprise)
  • 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes (GKE) setup, configuration, and optimization
  • 3+ years of experience with Python or GoLang
  • Experience with Jenkins, GitHub, Ansible, Artifactory, Helm
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work on a geographically distributed team
Preferred Qualifications
  • HashiCorp Terraform Associate Certificate
  • CKA certification
  • Experience with K8 custom operators development
  • Experience developing software
  • Experience working in a SAFe, Kanban, or Scrum development methodology
