We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team at Swift Connect INC. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including complete meals and individual items, to meet the needs of our customers.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Supply Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to manage kitchen operations and ensure smooth service.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
- Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
- Work Setting: This role is based in a restaurant in an urban area.
- Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended periods, working in a fast-paced environment, and performing repetitive tasks are required for this role.
