About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Oceans Fresh Food Market. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing standard cuts of meat for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting
- Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat
- Wrap and package prepared meats
- Remove bones from meat
- Weigh meats for sale
- Cut poultry into parts
- Price meat products
- Sell meats to customers
- Grind meats
- Prepare special orders
- Prepare special displays of meats, poultry and fish products
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
- Hand-eye co-ordination
- Work Term: Permanent
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 40 hours per week
