Cybersecurity Analyst Job Description

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team. As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will play a critical role in protecting our organization's digital assets from cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Incident Handling: Assist with incident handling, reporting, and focal point for Cybersecurity Operations.
  • Reporting and Communication: Report to the Global Head of Threat Monitoring and Response, working with stakeholders around the globe to bridge communication between technical operations teams and globally based business leadership.
  • Data Analysis: Compile and contextualize investigating data of business consumption, guiding the team to best practice for incident response.
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver training materials specific to cybersecurity reporting, evaluating and recommending process improvements and efficiencies in cybersecurity operations.
  • Culture and Environment: Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge, contributing to an inclusive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 3+ years of prior experience in Cybersecurity, 1+ year of incident handling experience managing large calls or multinational corporations across multiple business units, and 2+ years of prior Business Analysis experience.
  • Skills: Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills, proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics and new technologies, superior problem-solving & decision-making skills to resolve complex work issues, and adept ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, engineering, business, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Skills:
  • Language: Bilingual in Spanish is a highly valued asset, with a global presence in Latin America.
  • Certifications: CISM and/or CISSP certification.
  • Tools and Software: Experience with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau.
  • Project Management: Previous experience with project management or delivery, preferably within the banking industry.
