At Genesa Chartered Professional Accountants Corp., we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Accounting Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, setting up, and administering accounting systems, as well as supervising staff and ensuring accuracy and compliance to accounting standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify clients' financial goals and objectives
  • Plan, set up and administer accounting systems
  • Supervise staff
  • Analyze clients' financial records
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal control
  • Prepare financial information for individuals, departments or companies
  • Prepare financial statements and reports
  • Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices
  • Prepare income tax returns from accounting records
  • Review and examine financial services and institutions to ensure compliance with governing legislation and regulation
  • Analyze financial documents and reports
  • Examine accounting records
  • Provide financial, business and tax advice
  • Oversee payroll administration
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting and financial services
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills
