About the Role

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 per year, commensurate with experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality support services to clients, including case management, counseling, and advocacy. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

This is a permanent position working 35 hours per week. Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years is required. Experience: Less than 7 months of experience is acceptable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare reports or case histories
  • Appraise clients' needs or eligibility for specific services
  • Plan rehabilitation programs with offenders
  • Assess client's relevant skill strengths and development needs
  • Conduct follow-up assessments
  • Develop, co-ordinate and implement the delivery of specific services within the community
  • Housekeeping activities
  • Food preparation
  • Supervise activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses
  • Implement substance abuse treatment programs
  • Implement behaviour management programs
  • Liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients
  • Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of treatment programs
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social outings

  • First Aid Certificate
