We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to lead our RESL Portfolio Management team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving analyses, oversight, and thought leadership for Mortgage and HELOC Portfolios.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement sensitivity analyses to measure performance benchmarks against environmental trends.
- Monitor policy changes across the credit life cycle, focusing on credit performance, and provide judicious insights to various teams.
- Proactively assess RESL portfolio indicators, considering macro-economic and external trends.
- Assist senior executives in performance trending across portfolios and prepare communication materials.
- Triangulate internal data analyses with macro-economic and consumer trend reports to identify customer vulnerability.
- Lead GRM colleagues to improve portfolio monitoring and account management capabilities through integration of new models and frameworks.
- Assist in the annual planning process, providing thought leadership on implications to KPIs and risk-related metrics.
- Prepare deep dive analyses on key segments within the RESL portfolio, provisioning, and peer trends.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to create and interpret information/data required to monitor credit portfolio performance.
- Proficiency in programming and/or database programs (MongoDB, SAS, JAVA, SQL, R, Hadoop, Python).
- University degree in a relevant STEM discipline or a master's degree in business, statistics, economics, mathematics, management sciences, or analytics.
- 8-10 years of relevant work experience.
- Expertise in credit and portfolio management, mortgage underwriting, and credit analytics.
- Strong financial skills, solid deductive reasoning, sound judgment, and creativity.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to effectively convey information to various levels of management.
