Job Summary



We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Barber to join our team at MR. AND MRS. BARBER SHOP LTD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, cutting and styling hair, shaving and trimming beards and mustaches, and offering various hair treatments.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients warmly, taking orders accurately, and handling transactions efficiently.
  • Cut and style hair according to clients' preferences or instructions, using precision techniques and attention to detail.
  • Shave and trim beards and mustaches, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met.
  • Offer a range of hair treatments, including waving, straightening, tinting, bleaching, and conditioning massages, to enhance clients' overall experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain a positive work environment.


Requirements:



To be successful in this role, you will require:




  • A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate as the minimum educational requirement.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in the barber industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective client interactions and teamwork.
  • The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Judgment and reliability, ensuring consistent quality and maintaining confidentiality when necessary.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations, such as unexpected client requests or equipment malfunctions.
