Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide personalized care and support to clients in their homes, promoting independence and dignity. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Encourage clients to engage in regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain their physical health.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience in a related field is an asset.
  • CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate are required.
  • Criminal record check and reference required.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The successful candidate must be available for shift or on-call work and be legally able to work in Canada.

The work language is French.
