Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled R and SAS developer to join our SAS to R migration team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for replicating existing SAS workflows in R, leveraging your expertise in data manipulation, biostatistics, and data analysis. Your primary focus will be on clinical programming for the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong emphasis on CDISC standards and regulatory submissions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Replicating SAS workflows in R with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Developing and maintaining R code for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
  • Collaborating with our team to ensure seamless integration with existing SAS code.
  • Providing unit testing and documentation for all migrated code.
  • Communicating effectively with clients and stakeholders through blog writing, presentations, and webinars.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 5+ years of experience in scientific programming, preferably in a life sciences context.
  • Proficiency in R, including tidyverse, pharmaverse, ggplot2, and stats packages.
  • Strong biostatistics knowledge and experience with CDISC standards.
  • Intermediate knowledge of SAS programming and experience with regulatory submissions.
  • Excellent written communication skills and experience working with clients.
Preferred Qualifications

We're looking for candidates with:

  • Experience with Quarto and/or RMarkdown.
  • Extensive SAS experience and knowledge of Posit products.
  • Experience with medical records data and ICD/SNOMED coding.
