Job Title: Truck Driver - Long Haul

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Shiva Transport Ltd. as a Long Haul Driver. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods across the country and internationally.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining a safe and efficient driving record.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Maintain accurate records of hours of service, fuel consumption, and other relevant data.
  • Collaborate with dispatchers and other drivers to ensure smooth operations and meet customer demands.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 or A Driver's License.
  • Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work extended periods and travel internationally.
Work Environment:

As a Long Haul Driver, you will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions and road conditions. You will be expected to maintain a high level of physical fitness and be able to lift heavy objects.
