Job Summary

C.G. Needle Arts Ltd is seeking a skilled Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods, maintaining a safe working environment, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Activities: Work with other departments to ensure seamless communication and efficient operation of the warehouse.
  • Prepare Reports: Submit regular reports on inventory levels, production schedules, and any issues that may arise.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all equipment and machinery are in good working condition, and arrange for repairs as needed.
  • Staff Management: Supervise a team of 16-20 production clerks, purchasing and inventory clerks, and staff in various areas of responsibility.
  • Training and Development: Provide training to staff on duties, policies, and procedures, as well as arrange training for staff as needed.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to ensure staff are meeting expectations.
  • Logistics: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including establishing work schedules and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Security Clearance: Criminal record check required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to handle heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliable, and a team player.
