This role requires a strong understanding of nutrition principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
About YouWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Dietitian who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong educational background in Foods and Nutrition, as well as a Dietetic Internship Program. Current registration with the Nova Scotia Dietetic Association is also required. In addition, you will need to have a minimum of one year of experience as a Dietitian, with a strong focus on inpatient clinical nutrition experience. Competency in dysphagia management, enteral and parenteral nutrition, and experience counseling patients in an outpatient setting are also essential.
HoursThis is a long-assignment part-time position, with 60% of a full-time position (45 hours bi-weekly). The assignment length is approximately 18 months, subject to change.
Compensation and IncentivesThe successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate of $43.43. In addition, they may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
