Beth Shalom Synagogue seeks an experienced leader to oversee day-to-day operations, manage staff, and collaborate with the board to shape the synagogue's vision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Operations: Oversee synagogue operations, including administrative, financial, programming, and catering. Lead and support office administration, catering manager, and bookkeeper for smooth coordination.
  • Communication: Design and manage all synagogue communications, ensuring clarity, engagement, and alignment with goals.
  • Programming: Collaborate with the Rabbi and Programming Committee to plan diverse programs for demographics, supporting event coordination and member needs.
  • Community Engagement: Serve as primary point of contact for new members, developing strategies to increase participation and strengthen relationships.
  • Financial Oversight: Work closely with the Bookkeeper to manage finances, including budgeting, planning, and regular reporting. Explore revenue-generating opportunities.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, a passion for community building, and experience in organizational management.
