Job Summary

The Deli Clerk is a key role within our retail team, responsible for carrying out various duties in a professional, accurate, and timely manner. This includes delivering exceptional customer service, fostering customer loyalty, and actively contributing to an environment of employee and customer engagement.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Provide top-notch customer service to meet customer needs, foster customer loyalty, and actively contribute to an environment of employee and customer engagement.
  • Food Safety Protocols: Adhere to all Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety, corporate policies, and other programs and initiatives.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean and presentable work area, adhering to Company requirements.
  • Order Processing: Process customer deli orders efficiently and accurately.
  • Product Execution and Merchandising: Perform program execution and merchandising of product, ensuring optimal sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Stock Management: Order and receive stock in accordance with company inventory control procedures as required.
  • Shrink Reduction: Process department shrink, minimizing losses and optimizing sales.
  • Training and Development: Participate in the training of junior staff, enhancing their knowledge and skills.
  • Miscellaneous Tasks: Perform other duties as required by the Company.
