Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Fraser Health Authority. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing physiotherapy services to patients in accordance with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC standards of practice and Fraser Health mission, values, and physiotherapy acute care standard.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments of patients to identify their physical status, functional abilities, needs, and goals.
  2. Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans to achieve optimal health outcomes for patients.
  3. Collaborate with the interprofessional care team to provide patient-centered care and ensure seamless quality patient care.
  4. Evaluate and document the effectiveness of interventions and modify treatment plans as needed.
  5. Participate in maintaining a safe and respectful work environment and adhere to Fraser Health's values of Respect, Caring, and Trust.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Current full registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC.
  • Knowledge of physiotherapy theory and practice within a patient and family-centered model of care.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with patients, caregivers, and members of the interprofessional care team.
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others.
