Convention Centre Manager Job Description

Urgo Hotels Canada is seeking a skilled Convention Centre Manager to oversee the daily operations of our convention centre. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event planning, staff management, and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the convention centre's daily operations, including event planning, staff supervision, and budgeting.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop proposals.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Or equivalent experience.
Work Setting:
  • Hotel, motel, resort.
  • Rural area.
  • Restoration.
Tasks:
  • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support.
  • Hire and oversee training and supervision of staff.
  • Plan and manage the facility's operations budget.
  • Organize and maintain inventory.

  • Restoration of antique furniture.
