About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team at Jai Plumbing & Heating Ltd. as a key member of our operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Installation: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Preparation and Planning: Prepare tenders and quotations, and schedule personnel, tools, and equipment for efficient project execution.
  • Pipe Fitting and Installation: Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors, and cut openings to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
  • Testing and Quality Control: Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges, and determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
  • Supervision and Estimation: Supervise other workers, estimate costs and materials, and measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shape and size.
Work Environment and Requirements
  • Work Conditions: Work under pressure, and be prepared for overtime as required.
  • Physical Capabilities: Possess the physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
