Job Description:

At Centre de services Soucy, we are seeking a seasoned Corporate Lawyer to join our legal team. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert legal support to our subsidiaries in various areas of law, including corporate, intellectual property, environment, labour and employment, etc.

You will play a vital role in analyzing, drafting, and negotiating contractual agreements related to our business activities, as well as ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Your expertise will be crucial in identifying legal issues, analyzing possible solutions, and providing recommendations to achieve business objectives.

We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits such as a Registered Retirement Savings Plan with employer contribution, flexible hours, and social activities.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in law and member of the Quebec Bar or the Chambre des notaires
  • 3 to 10 years' experience in business law
  • Excellent command of spoken and written French and English for drafting and translating contracts into English and communicating with customers and their lawyers in English
