Job Title: Truck Driver

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Anyar Trucking Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating semi-trailer trucks to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Load and unload goods
  • Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
  • Pay and receive payments for goods
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods

Requirements:

  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Excellent oral communication
  • Efficient interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility
  • Reliability
  • Team player

Work Environment: On the road job, 40 to 60 hours per week, permanent position.
