About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud Competence Center at Beiersdorf AG. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and driving the development of Google Cloud Capabilities for our Beiersdorf Cloud Platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable, reliable, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Develop and maintain cloud-based applications and services, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize cloud-based projects and initiatives.
  • Provide expert-level support and guidance to customers and stakeholders on cloud-related matters.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer with a focus on administering Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM) principles and experience with implementing and managing IAM within Google Cloud Platform environment.
  • Familiarity with Data Analytics stack of cloud platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (preferably Terraform) and CI/CD tooling to build, test, and deploy infrastructure for application environments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to engage with international project teams.
