Retail Store Manager

As a key member of the Canadian Tire Associate Store #631 team, the Retail Store Supervisor will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our retail store. This dynamic individual will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of cashiers, retail salespersons, and sales clerks, while also providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles
- Authorize the return of merchandise and establish work schedules to ensure efficient store operations
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages, in a timely and professional manner
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize waste
- Supervise and coordinate activities of workers to ensure seamless store operations
- Provide customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers
- 1-2 years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and reports
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
