Woodworking Specialist

At Redleaf Designs, we are seeking a skilled Cabinet Fabrication Expert to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating woodworking machines, such as power saws, jointers, mortisers and shapers, to cut, shape and form parts and components. Your expertise will be crucial in preparing specifications of custom-made cabinets that maximize storage, as well as shaping surfaces or edges of wood workpieces, using hand tools, such as planes, chisels, or wood files.
In addition to your technical skills, you will also be responsible for sanding wooden surfaces and applying veneer, stain or polish to finished products; preparing and applying laminated plastics. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will be essential in ensuring the high-quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate woodworking machines to cut, shape and form parts and components
- Prepare specifications of custom-made cabinets that maximize storage
- Shape surfaces or edges of wood workpieces using hand tools
- Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain or polish to finished products
- Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures and related products
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
