We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Patient Care Specialist to join our team at AgeCare Mount Ida Mews. This role involves providing exceptional patient care and support to residents in our nursing home/home for the aged.
Job SummaryThis is a permanent position requiring 30 to 40 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have a college diploma or equivalent experience, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care and comfort.
About the Role- Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities to promote physical and mental well-being
- Perform various tasks related to patient care, including taking vital signs, serving meal trays, and making beds
- Provide personal care and companionship to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Transport patients safely using wheelchairs or stretchers, while collecting specimens as needed
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
- CPR Certificate
- Nursing Aide Certificate
- Health Care Aide Certificate
- Personal Support Worker Certificate
- Criminal record check
- Immunization records
- Tuberculosis test
We offer an attractive compensation package, including a salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as benefits such as a dental plan, healthcare plan, and life insurance.
