Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at McDonalds Squamish, Whistler and Pemberton. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy leading a team and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement work schedules to meet the needs of our busy restaurant
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff members who prepare and serve food, ensuring high-quality products and excellent customer service
  • Train staff on job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements to ensure efficient meal preparation and minimize waste
  • Maintain records of stock, sales, and repairs to inform business decisions and optimize profitability
  • Prepare and submit reports to management to track progress and identify areas for improvement
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in the food service industry
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required; post-secondary education an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a team
  • Able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and work in a physically demanding environment
