About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Vacation Rental Revenue Manager to join our team at Angel Host. As a key member of our revenue management team, you will be responsible for developing and executing pricing strategies to maximize revenue for our clients' vacation rental properties.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Pricing Strategy Development: Analyze market trends, historical data, and client-specific requirements to create and present pricing strategy proposals that optimize revenue.
  2. Rate Management: Manage rates, minimum stays, and promotions across all channels to ensure optimal pricing adjustments.
  3. Dynamic Pricing: Create, execute, and evaluate strategic pricing decisions using our dynamic pricing tool to maximize revenue.
  4. Performance Monitoring: Oversee property performance by monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Market Penetration Index (MPI), Booking Velocity, Length of Stay (LOS), and Booking Window (DBA).
  5. Listing Optimization: Collaborate with our Listing Optimization Specialists to ensure listings are optimized for maximum performance.
  6. Reporting and Communication: Produce clear and concise monthly revenue and market data reports to educate stakeholders on our revenue management methodology.
  7. Stakeholder Management: Work closely with our Account Managers to communicate pricing strategies to Property Managers and Hosts, addressing any questions or concerns.
  8. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with our Senior Revenue Management Team to contribute to the development of our revenue management practice.
  9. Industry Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and pricing tools to ensure we utilize the best practices in the industry.
  10. Client Communication: Participate in industry events and conferences to promote our revenue management and pricing methodology to prospective clients.
Requirements
  1. Proven Experience: Proven experience in Hotels or Vacation Rental Revenue Management, with a consistent record of outstanding performance, or a strong academic background/qualifications in Mathematics and/or Data Science.
  2. Language Skills: Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate complex pricing strategies to clients.
  3. Dynamic Pricing Tools: Experience working with Dynamic Pricing tools, with a plus for experience with Pricelabs.
  4. Spreadsheets: High proficiency in using spreadsheets, with a plus for experience with Google Sheets and G-Suite.
  5. Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical skills, with a strong affinity for numbers and meticulous organizational abilities.
  6. Property Management Software: Experience using Property Management Software systems, with a plus for experience with Guesty or Hostaway.
  7. Client Communication: Ability to communicate complex pricing strategies to clients, both one-to-one and in public settings.
  8. Teamwork: Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team.
  9. Initiative: Strong initiative, with the ability to take ownership of tasks and projects.
  10. Professionalism: Honest, ethical, and professional demeanor.
