Culinary Operations Manager

MR MIKES Steakhouse Casual is seeking a skilled Kitchen Supervisor to lead our culinary team and ensure exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of food preparation staff, training employees in job duties and safety procedures, and maintaining the highest standards of quality control.
Responsibilities- Establish and implement efficient kitchen workflows to meet work schedules and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform kitchen operations and improve efficiency.
- Prepare and submit reports on kitchen performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to achieve exceptional food quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with government programs and support for newcomers, refugees, and Indigenous communities.
