Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist to join our team at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. As a key member of our cancer care team, you will be responsible for providing expert medical care to patients with cancer.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive medical care to patients with cancer, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in cancer care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
  • Experience: 5 years or more in a hospital setting.
  • Certifications: Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification Examination, licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
  • Specialization: Medical oncology.
