Cloud Security and Analytics Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security and Analytics Consultant to join our team at Apex Systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for taking full ownership of key platforms, ensuring their ongoing health, performance, and alignment with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand their strategic goals and translate them into technical requirements for platform development.
  • Monitor platform performance and identify areas for improvement, implementing optimization strategies to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with platform operations, ensuring that the platform is resilient and secure.

Strong proficiency in analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, and Databricks is required. In-depth understanding of network infrastructure, security principles (tokenization, hashing, encryption), and general systems concepts is also essential.

This is a 12-month contract position with a strong possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 days a week available in Toronto, Monday-Friday, 9:00AM - 5:00PM.
