Compensation

Your hard work will be rewarded with a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications.

Job Description

In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks, including:

  • Tissue processing, embedding & microtomy of clinical/animal tissue
  • Routine and specialized staining histological staining
  • Routine and specialized immunohistochemical staining
  • Developing and optimizing new antibodies for research purposes
  • Performing in-situ hybridization
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Medical Laboratory Science or Biology
  • Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) from the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS)
  • At least 8 years of related experience or 10 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree
  • Recent experience in histopathology research/clinical experience preferred
