About the Role

Lawnsmart & Snow Removal Ltd. is seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team. As a Construction Labourer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Preparation: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to designated areas.
  • Measurement and Inspection: Measure weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting, and perform pre-operational inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Construction Tasks: Read blueprints to determine work requirements, erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades, and mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Assistance and Support: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, and pave and rake asphalt.
  • Site Maintenance: Clean and pile salvaged materials, and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: Physically demanding, handling heavy loads, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train, with a focus on developing skills in construction trades.
  • Language: English.
