Job Title: Geological Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Geological Technician to join our team at Azure Group Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting geological, geophysical, geochemical, hydrographic, or oceanographic surveys, prospecting field trips, exploratory drilling, well logging, or underground mine survey programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in environmental audits and conduct surveys or survey programs
  • Perform clerical duties, such as maintaining filing and record systems
  • Conduct or direct surveys or survey programs
  • Prepare notes, sketches, geological maps, and cross sections
  • Supervise oil and gas well drilling, well completions, and work-overs
  • Assist in hydrogeological field and laboratory studies
Requirements:
  • Certification by a provincial or territorial association
  • Geographic Information System (GIS) skills
  • Ability to operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment
  • MS Office skills
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
