Job Title: Flooring Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team at Carpet Colour Centre (Red Deer) Ltd. As a Flooring Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various types of flooring, including carpet, hardwood, and tile.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
  • Install carpeting on floors, walls, and other surfaces
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
  • Perform direct glue-down and double-bond carpet installations
  • Install outdoor carpets and materials on counter tops and raised platforms
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in the field of employment
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Commercial and residential work experience
