Housekeeper Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our household team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, comfortable, and tidy environment for our family.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform residential cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and laundry
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
  • Dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
  • Make beds and change sheets
  • Restock clean towels and toiletries and linen closet
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Mend clothing and linens
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Shop for food and household supplies
  • Assist with meals preparation, cooking, and other home-making chores as needed
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in residential cleaning is preferred
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English
  • Strong time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes
  • Capability to launder and clean various items effectively
