  • Work with other operators to ensure that the treatment process is operating smoothly and efficiently
  • Participate in training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in a science or technical field preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes and equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Physical ability to lift and move equipment, and work in a physically demanding environment

Work Environment:

The Wastewater Operator will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to dust, odors, and other environmental hazards. The operator will be required to work at heights, and may be exposed to hazardous materials. The operator will also be required to work in a physically demanding environment, with frequent lifting and moving of equipment.
