Ecologist Assistant

Job Summary

Nature‐Action Québec is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Ecocentre Attendant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, ensuring a positive experience at our ecocentre.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet clients and provide information on the ecocentre's operations and regulations
• Respond to client inquiries and direct them to the appropriate area
• Enter client information into our system and monitor the type, quantity, and compliance of materials brought to the ecocentre
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience for clients throughout their visit
• Sort and store certain materials (hazardous household waste, electronics)
• Perform maintenance tasks to ensure the safety and cleanliness of the premises
• Adhere to health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations
• Perform other tasks as assigned by your supervisor

Requirements

• Minimum one year of experience in customer service
• Excellent communication skills in French (oral)
• Ability to converse in simple English (an asset for customer service)
• Good physical condition and endurance to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Positive attitude and professional behavior (autonomy, punctuality, courtesy, and teamwork)
