About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at First Call Construction. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting and wall covering services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and Finish Surfaces
    • Ensure all surfaces are properly cleaned and sanded to create a smooth finish.
    • Apply paint and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Wall Covering and Decoration
    • Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls.
    • Advise clients on colors and choice of wall coverings.
  • Estimation and Planning
    • Estimate costs and materials required for each project.
    • Plan and coordinate work to ensure timely completion.
  • Physical Demands and Work Environment
    • Work in a physically demanding environment, requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling.
    • Ability to distinguish between colors and maintain attention to detail.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the painting and wall covering industry.
  • Language and Work Environment
    • Fluency in English.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying work settings.
