Job Title: Physiotherapy Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Max Physiotherapy.

Job Summary

The Physiotherapy Assistant will provide administrative and clinical support to our physiotherapists, ensuring the smooth operation of our services. This is a permanent position, working 35 hours per week, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care and support.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physiotherapists in the assessment and treatment of patients, including preparing equipment and materials.
  • Develop and maintain information materials for patients, such as instructional guides and educational resources.
  • Order and maintain inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products, ensuring accurate storage and handling.
  • Administer evaluative tests and procedures, as directed by physiotherapists.
  • Clean and maintain equipment, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies, as needed.
  • Prepare and maintain the cleanliness of collection areas, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Order supplies and equipment, as required.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
Work Setting

This position is based in a private practice setting, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care and support.
