Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Assistant to join our team at PRO TOUCH PLUMBING AND HEATING LTD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting plumbers with various tasks, including loading and unloading construction materials, cleaning up chemical spills, and moving tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Move tools, equipment, and other materials as needed to support plumbing operations.
  • Assist plumbers with estimating costs and determining piping system requirements.
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.

Work Environment: This is a physically demanding role that requires working in a fast-paced environment with confined spaces, dust, and cold temperatures. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work overtime as needed.

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other personal protective equipment required.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions from supervisors.
