**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced consultant to support our organization in developing a comprehensive philanthropy and partnerships strategy. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the Canadian philanthropic landscape and a proven track record of delivering successful fundraising and partnerships initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct a thorough review of our current philanthropy and partnerships strategy, including revenue targets and pipelines.
  • Analyze market dynamics and donor preferences to identify emerging trends and areas of opportunity within the philanthropic landscape.
  • Develop a performance metrics framework, including key performance indicators, to track progress against our multi-year plan.
  • Collaborate closely with our stakeholders, including key international peers and specialists, to ensure a comprehensive understanding of our needs and goals.
  • Deliver a detailed analysis of internal data, market data, and resources, including a proposed pathway to address gaps and align staffing, budget, and other resources with revenue targets.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in philanthropy and partnerships development, with a strong understanding of the Canadian philanthropic landscape.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of autonomy and flexibility.
Deliverables:
  • Detailed analysis of internal data, market data, and resources.
  • Detailed rationale for validated and/or adjusted revenue targets by portfolio, including the mapping of pipelines across the multi-year plan.
  • Mapping of organizational resources (products, skills, and resources) available to support philanthropy and partnerships.
  • A proposed pathway to address gaps and align staffing, budget, and other resources with revenue targets.
  • A well-defined performance metrics framework, including key performance indicators, to track progress against our multi-year plan.
