Job Title: IT Security Specialist

We are seeking an experienced IT Security Specialist to lead and execute a detailed IT security assessment for our client, Health Care Client (HCC). This project will involve conducting comprehensive tests across various domains, including external and internal network penetration testing, web and non-web application penetration testing, network security assessment, and physical security assessment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct an external network penetration test on HCC's externally available hosts accessible from the internet, focusing on identifying vulnerabilities that may impact the organization.
  • Perform web application penetration testing to identify exploitable risks in HCC's web-based applications, following a structured methodology including enumeration, vulnerability assessment, and exploitation.
  • Execute an onsite network security assessment to simulate attacks and assess the security of all networked assets, including servers, desktops, firewall, network devices, and wireless infrastructure.
  • Conduct a physical security assessment to identify weaknesses in HCC's physical security controls, including social engineering techniques to gain unauthorized access.
  • Prepare detailed reports, including an Executive Summary, Technical Report, and Findings Presentation for senior management at HCC.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in conducting comprehensive IT security assessments and penetration testing.
  • In-depth knowledge of penetration testing tools and methodologies, particularly for external and internal network testing, web application testing, and physical security assessments.
  • Ability to prepare detailed and actionable reports for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively present findings and recommendations to senior management.
