Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Development Specialist to join our team at MJMS GROUP. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year.

About the Role

The successful candidate will assist in designing, developing, and testing electronic components, systems, and equipment. They will also inspect, test, and adjust electronic components, calibrate electronic equipment and instruments, and assist in building and testing prototypes to specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Assist in designing, developing, and testing electronic components, systems, and equipment.
  • Inspection and Testing: Inspect, test, and adjust electronic components.
  • Calibration: Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments.
  • Prototype Building: Assist in building and testing prototypes to specifications.
  • Data Collection: Collect and compile operational or experimental data.
  • Installation and Commissioning: Conduct or supervise the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems.
  • Test Equipment Operation: Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems.
  • Reporting: Complete work orders, test, and maintenance reports.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in electronics development or a related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position working 30-40 hours per week. The language of work is English, and the duration of employment is permanent.
