Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to join our team at SuperSave Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and repair plumbing fixtures and systems to ensure safe and efficient water supply and waste management.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems and identify potential issues.
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for clients and manage projects from start to finish.
  • Instruct and supervise apprentices to ensure they receive proper training and guidance.
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections and other necessary tasks to ensure accurate and efficient installation.
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges to ensure the system is functioning properly.
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing to ensure optimal performance.
  • Supervise other workers to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects to ensure accurate budgeting.
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems to design and plan plumbing systems.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek. The work language is English.
