About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and caring individual to join our team at Kiran Kaur as a Child Caregiver. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to children in the comfort of their own home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Household Management: Assume full responsibility for household duties in the absence of parents, including light housekeeping and cleaning.
  • Child Supervision: Provide supervision and care for children, ensuring their emotional well-being and safety at all times.
  • Education Support: Assist children with homework and educational activities, promoting their cognitive development and academic success.
  • Travel and Errands: Accompany the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
  • Personal Care: Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens, as well as prepare infants and children for rest periods.
  • Discipline and Guidance: Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, promoting positive behavior and self-discipline.
  • Organizational Skills: Organize activities, such as games and outings, for children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents, keeping them informed of their child's daily activities and progress.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking work site environment.
  • Work Setting: Employer's home.
  • Language: English.
  • Hours of Work: 32 to 40 hours per week.
