Registered Nurse, Emergency Department

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Fraser Health Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients, collect relevant data, and develop individualized care plans to address their unique needs.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care, promote patient-centered care, and ensure seamless transitions.
- Clinical Expertise: Utilize your advanced clinical knowledge and skills to provide high-quality patient care, make informed decisions, and stay up-to-date with best practices.
- Leadership and Education: Participate in education and training initiatives, mentor new staff members, and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Quality Improvement: Engage in quality improvement activities, identify areas for improvement, and collaborate with teams to implement changes that enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Completion of applicable post-graduate coursework in emergency nursing or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in emergency nursing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and adapt to changing situations.
