Our client has been built from the ground up by real estate investors, for real estate investors with one mission: to put as much money as possible back into the hands of individual real estate investors through cost segregation studies. Because of our experience and process, we are the only firm we are aware of that is able to guarantee a minimum 5x ROI on our studies, and all of our studies are 100% custom to our client's property and their tax means our clients always receive the maximum depreciation benefits they are legally entitled to. Due to our recent growth, we are excited to add a Construction Estimator to the team. This role is essential in helping us deliver accurate and detailed estimates for our American clients. If you have a strong background in construction, technical expertise, and are adept with Excel, we want to hear from you.

As a Remote Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects, both residential and commercial. Your role will involve analyzing blueprints, understanding project requirements, and using Excel to manage and present data. We are looking for someone with practical experience in the construction industry who can effectively work with computer systems and tools to produce accurate estimates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects based on blueprints, specifications, and project requirements.
  • Utilize Excel to manage data, create pivot tables, and apply complex formulas to analyze cost components and generate detailed reports.
  • Review and understand project plans and specifications, including both residential and commercial construction projects.
  • Efficiently use various computer tools and software to streamline estimating processes and ensure accuracy.
  • Work closely with project managers, architects, and clients to gather necessary information and clarify project details.
  • Ensure all estimates are accurate and reflect current market conditions and construction costs.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction estimating, project management, or a trade-related role.
  • Experience with both residential and commercial construction is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables and complex formulas.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and building systems.
  • Familiarity with estimating software and tools is a plus.
