Job Description

Cargojet's Risk and Compliance Specialist will be responsible for managing risk and actively overseeing Cargojet's insurance program. This role requires a solid understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and risk mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Cargojet's insurance program, conducting thorough assessments of current insurance coverage, including premiums and deductions.
  • Actively identify and implement opportunities to improve compliance with risk mitigation strategies, resulting in reduced costs.
  • Create and manage comprehensive reporting frameworks and dashboards that provide insights into spend, compliance, risk management, and overall financial performance.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in finance, business analytics, or related fields, with a focus on contract management, spend analysis, risk management, and financial reporting.
  • Proven track record in assessing business expenditures, optimizing contracts, managing insurance programs, and delivering actionable insights.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
