About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Dairy Queen Grill & Chill. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory treats for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Bake mixed dough and batters to perfection.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Prepare special orders and ensure that all products meet our high standards.
  • Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods to create visually appealing treats.
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that we have the necessary supplies on hand.
  • Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods to maximize revenue.

  • Criminal record check.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Judgement and reliability.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
