About the Role

The Personal Support Worker will provide personalized care and support to our residents, assisting with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and mobility. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care, ensuring the comfort and dignity of our residents.
  • Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Support residents with mobility issues, providing assistance with walking, transferring, and using assistive devices.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering dietary needs and preferences.
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction, engaging residents in activities and conversations.
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident condition, ensuring timely interventions and support.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • CPR Certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
